4 AM is sooo ethereal….. I actually stumbled upon this Hancock composition only recently and found it to be such a gifted surprise!!! And to find both Jaco and Mason adding their visceral flavors to the mix served to elevate its richness in a manner that rings true to how this genre teleports me into sheer enjoyment!!! I’m an abstract artist…. so such music helps to generate fresh perceptions in the viewing of visual works of art…. ….and stimulates me to generate other-worldly ideas!!! Thank you Herbie Hancock for this splendid offering!!!
