How can I get the guitar sheet music for this song?
Truly, truly, TRULY one of the greatest musical compositions ever to grace Planet Earth. Played it over and over last night. Appreciate it even more now than even when the movie Shaft came out… This piece of music takes me beyond earth – into space and beyond…. hope they play it at my funeral!!
I remember as a mid teen going to see this movie, and falling in love with the soundtrack. After school I went out and bought the Album with my hard earned paper round money. And unlike many others I kept it and still have to this day. Is Café Regio’s jazz? In my eyes and to my ears it’s possibly one of the finest pieces of Smooth Jazz ever written. Certainly as a previous commentator said “Isaac Hayes master piece”. We went to see him play live in Poole, Dorset, England circa 1977. That was a magical evening to witness Hayes himself playing on Vibraphone. Truly an evening I remember fondly to thus day. R.I.P. Isaac Hayes
This and “Early Sunday Morning” have always been my two most favourite tracks from this album I’ve had the vinyl since 71!💖
This an Isaac Hayes’ masterpiece classic.
Woke up this morning and just had to hear this cut so of course I went to YouTube, And as always this piece never disappoints
