I was playing at the Village Door while this Jamaica Funk was being recorded. Tom Browne would comein and sit in with my jazz trio. We played jazz standards (not funk). They were happy times! “Into the Cosmos!”.
She sounds much like Chaka Khan! I wonder if she is or ever was a background singer for Chaka!
