The Mizell machine was and is not to be ignored. Marvin Gaye and that song were destined to hook up. Pure magic.
I knew that was donald Byrd on horns, but tha/ was a typical arrangement for Marvin the mizell bros also produced Donald’s album places & spaces wind parade,places & spaces,just my imagination
