Discovered/heard this tune when I purchased Rodney’s Greatest Hits in 2015. Windy City was the song that spoke the most me of all of Rodney’s songs. Then I listened to Felix Leo. Wow! That Bass, those drums, those strings and that Bass Clarinet! This song represents the essence of the Jazz Funk genre.
Rodney pasted on July 8th 2026. His music is with us.
